Our latest adventure, a trip to
Owensboro to see Kim and the guys took us through Crossville,
Tennessee where we stayed the evening. Just across from our motel,
Comfort Suites, we noticed a winery and restaurant. Unfortunately
the winery was closed but the restaurant, The
Brass Lantern, was open and fitted us in without
having a reservation(the place was full). What a pleasant
surprise.
I had the pork chop and Marcia
had the salmon, both of which were excellent. The staff was
most friendly, gracious and accommodating.
If you are traveling I-40 in
east central Tennessee I suggest you stop off at exit 322 and visit
the folks.. they do lunch too. |
